About Me

Years ago, probably before I was even 18, many friends and I would go to the local smoke shop, buy whatever cigars we could afford, and enjoy them with copious amounts of cheap light beer and a smile. Ten years later (give or take), here we are. Father of two boys. Married to an incredible woman... and that passion for cigars and drink have aged so very well.

Over the years, whether it be during my time as a Marine or my time after, I have always enjoyed a good cigar. The passion has grown over the years, but one thing remains the same: pairing memories with a good stick and a quality pour is what it's all about. I want to share that with you, throughout all the cigars and whiskey that I can get my hands on.

As a dad, things are often times pretty hectic. I created this blog to talk about the missing third link to the coveted pairing of cigars and whiskey: Fatherhood. As I write and ramble, tune in for the funny stories, the dumb mistakes, the challenges, and of course (the reason I suspect you are here} the awesome smoke and drink.
